How the tool works
When you use the IP checker, your browser requests a network record from an IP geolocation provider. KiwiVPN uses multiple providers as fallbacks so an outage at one service does not prevent the basic lookup from working. The result can include the public address, network provider and an approximate location. KiwiVPN displays it in your browser and does not ask you to create an account.
Location results describe internet infrastructure. They are not GPS readings and should never be used to identify a home, prove where a person is, or make decisions about someone's eligibility or trustworthiness.
